It’s been a while since I last posted, but recently I had a self-check moment that brought me back to reflecting on my cochlear implant journey. Many grocery stores have transitioned to self-checkout lines, and my go-to, Aldi, has converted most of theirs to self-check.

This is my first post on my new blog!
Life is about living in community and relationships with each other. Challenges in life are what makes us stronger and who we are. My hearing loss has been my greatest strength in life and my greatest challenge. As an audiologist and individual with hearing loss, I want to share in my journey to a cochlear implant.
