What’s Your Life Story?

Humans are drawn to each other by the stories we dare to share. We create deeper roots with family, friends, and community through the art of storytelling.
The Oceans Roar is Music to the Soul

Where is your favorite place to get away? Mine is hands down the beach.
Last week we traveled to Ocean Isle beach with our vacationing neighbors. We treasured a week of quarantine at a beach house where we picked up groceries, cooked great meals, and stayed put.
Masked Out and Exhausted!

COVID 19 has changed the way communication happens. I am 100% in support taking measures to protect others and myself by social distancing and wearing face coverings.
Staying Put

Staying put has been the theme of many of our lives over the past few months. For some, being quarantined has sparked creative projects and solutions.
fearLESS

I have not sat down to write for a while #hearingspanglish. I cannot believe I am 4 ½ months post activation!! My last appointment for mapping/programming was right before the state of Ohio went into the Stay at Home order.
JOY

A few weeks ago I was reading through a leadership blog and the word Productive Paranoia jumped out at me. This word struck a chord with me and I decided to investigate and find the source.
STOP

Last week I had another checkup for my cochlear implant. Each time I go I am anxious to know how I might be performing during the speech discrimination testing.
Working Out!

When I decided to pursue the cochlear implant, I knew that it was going to take time to train my brain to listen with it. Many people continue to ask me what I think of the CI.
